HOW TO FOUND A INNOVATIVE STARTUP
When we talk about an innovative startup, we mean a young company with strong growth potential whose main objective is the promotion of youth employment and entrepreneurship aimed atinnovation and allo technological development. An Innovative Startup, to be such, must be registered in the special register of Innovative Startups and SMEs as governed by the decree law 179/2012 - converted into law n. 211 of 12/19/12. The legislation contains the necessary requirements to be an innovative startup and the procedures for enrollment in the special register. Requirements
Established for less than 5 years
Head office in Italy
Annual turnover of less than 5 million euros
No distribution of profits
No listing on a regulated market
The exclusive corporate purpose is the development, production and marketing of innovative products or services with high technological value
No establishment by merger, demerger or following the sale of a company or business unit.
